Dance Tools Terms of Use

Effective: October 10, 2026 · ToolBunch LLC (“we”, “us”)

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of the Dance Tools app on any platform (iOS, iPadOS, Android) and its related services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you’re under the age of majority where you live, you confirm that a parent or guardian has agreed to these Terms.

3. Accounts

You can use parts of the Service without an account. Some features require signing in with Apple or Google. You’re responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Account → Delete Account).

4. License to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and to the rules of the store you downloaded it from. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute the app, except where the law allows it.

5. Your content

“Your Content” means the audio you import and the song names, descriptions, snippets, sequences and other information you add.

  • You keep all rights to Your Content. You confirm that you have the rights needed to import, use and share any audio, including music licenses where required.
  • Audio stays on your device. You choose when to share it with others.
  • You give us a limited license to store, process and display the song information you submit, solely to operate the Service. This includes showing it to Leaders, Co-Leads and Dancers of the song.
  • You’re responsible for what you share and with whom.

6. Leaders, Co-Leads and Dancers

A song’s Leader controls who can edit or open it, and can transfer leadership. If the Leader deletes a song or their account, the song is removed for everyone. Keep your own copies of any audio you care about.

7. Acceptable use

Don’t use the Service to:

  • infringe anyone’s intellectual property or privacy;
  • share unlawful, harassing, hateful or sexually explicit content;
  • impersonate others or misuse someone else’s QR code;
  • interfere with, overload, scrape or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users’ data; or
  • get around limits or security features.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules. To report a problem, email tools@toolbunch.com.

8. Limits, beta features and changes

The Service is currently free. Some features, such as the number of songs you can register, may have limits. Features marked beta or offered through TestFlight or other test programs may change or stop working. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service. If we ever offer paid features, they’ll be sold through the app store you use, under that store’s terms.

9. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties, including Apple, Google and Google Firebase. Their terms and policies apply to your use of their services. We aren’t responsible for them.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. This includes merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that data won’t be lost.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, ToolBunch LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the past 12 months or US $50. Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify ToolBunch LLC against claims arising from Your Content or your breach of these Terms.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms. Sections 10–12 and 14–15 survive termination.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in [COUNTY] County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction. This doesn’t limit any mandatory consumer protections where you live.

15. App store terms

Apple. If you downloaded the app from Apple’s App Store:

  • These Terms are between you and ToolBunch LLC, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
  • Your license is also subject to Apple’s Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support.
  • If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of any purchase price. Apple has no other warranty obligation.
  • Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection, or intellectual property claims.
  • You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Google. If you downloaded the app from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply. Google is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We’ll change the effective date and, for material changes, notify you in the app. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
