From the first tap to the whole class

Swipe through what Dance Tools does.

All you want is eight counts. Forty times.

No more rewinding, pausing and scrubbing to find the spot. Here’s how a class gets there.

Add a song

The Leader signs in with Apple or Google and imports the song.

Mark the parts

Tap Start and End while it plays. Name each snippet.

Share one file

Send the song by AirDrop, Messages, WhatsApp or email.

Dancers loop it

They open the file and every snippet is there. No account needed.

Three roles. One song.

Everyone works from the same snippets, and only the people you choose can change them.

Dancers

Plays along. Gets every update.

  • Open the song file your Leader sends. No account needed.
  • Tap a snippet to loop it, slow it to half speed, and practice at home, in the studio or before class.
  • New snippets show up on their own.
Leaders & teachers

Adds the song. Runs the show.

  • Mark the parts once and share them with the whole class.
  • Choose who can open a song with Private, and pause it any time with Allow Playback.
  • Swap in a new mix with Replace Song and keep every snippet.
  • Hand the song to someone else with Make Leader, or remove it from every device with Delete for Everyone.
Co-Leads

Helps edit snippets and notes.

  • Added by the Leader with a quick QR code scan.
  • Can make and edit snippets, write notes and share the song.
  • Only the Leader can delete the song for everyone or add Co-Leads.

Quick answers

Do Dancers need an account?

No. Dancers open the song file and start practicing. An account (Sign in with Apple or Google) is only needed to add your own songs or to help lead one.

Where does my music go?

Nowhere. Your audio stays on your devices and is never uploaded. Only song names, snippets and notes are saved online, so updates can reach your class.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Songs and snippets on your device play without a connection. New changes sync the next time you’re online.

I got a song file from my Leader. What now?

Install Dance Tools, then tap the file in Messages, WhatsApp, email or Files. It opens in Dance Tools with every snippet ready to loop.

Can iPhone and Android users share songs?

Yes. A song shared from an iPhone opens on Android, and the other way round. Snippet updates reach everyone either way.
