Delete your Dance Tools account

You can delete your Dance Tools account at any time, on iPhone, iPad or Android. You only have an account if you signed in with Apple or Google. Without signing in, there’s no account to delete; uninstalling the app removes everything from your device.

In the app

1. Open Dance Tools and go to Account.
2. Tap Delete Account.
3. Confirm with Apple or Google when asked. This proves the account is yours.

You need an internet connection. If you cancel or go offline before it finishes, nothing is deleted.

By email

If you can’t use the app, email tools@toolbunch.com from the email address on your account. Tell us whether you sign in with Apple or Google. We’ll confirm the request and delete the account within 30 days.

What’s deleted

Deletion is permanent and can’t be undone. It deletes:

• your account and profile (name and email),
• every song you lead, for everyone, with its snippets and sequences, and
• your Co-Lead and Dancer entries on other people’s songs.

It also revokes Dance Tools’ Sign in with Apple access. On the device you delete from, the deleted songs and private songs you were removed from are cleared, and the app starts again without an account.

What’s kept

• Crash reports and usage data, only if you turned them on: these contain no name or email. They’re kept for up to 90 days (crash reports) and up to 2 months (usage data), then removed automatically.
• Audio and songs on your devices: audio is never uploaded. Files you imported stay on your devices until you delete them or uninstall the app.
• Copies other people made: songs you shared stay in other people’s apps only as files they saved themselves.
